The Famous Hooters of America at Clarke Quay Singapore It was April 1983 in Clearwater, Florida at the corner of Gulf to Bay and Hampton Road. Six fun-loving businessmen with roots in the Midwest and no experience in the food business were opening a restaurant with an owl in the logo, chicken wing s as the feature item, and cheer leaders in orange shorts. The Hooters Restaurant occupies 6663 sq. ft. nestled neatly at Clarke Quay. The hooters concept stresses on great food, good service, reasonable prices, a relaxed atmosphere and of course, the famous Hooters Girls. Together, these elements combine to make Hooters the place to go for celebrities, sports figures, and anyone who enjoys food and FUN! FUN! FUN! Watching the Hooters Girls do their thing with the Hoola Hoops that is, is a treat. Guys feast your eyes !! Er, as well as your stomachs. The inspiration at Hooters Restaurant is "delightfully tacky and unrefined. |
